Description: A hard copy package designed for use by financial counsellors and community educators to support delivery to their clients. Includes 16 workshops that cover: planning, saving, budgeting, financial paperwork, everyday banking, credit, debt, consumer rights and responsibilities. The package includes speaking notes for facilitators, lesson plans, case studies and activity sheets for participants. Calculators and satchels are also available upon request for participants.

Licensing arrangements: To use these materials you must be a registered financial counsellor, or an employee or registered volunteer with a community organisation or university. It is preferred that users participate in the MoneyMinded Facilitator Training program prior to delivering workshops. Participants in the MoneyMinded Facilitator Training program must have adult education, financial counselling or general finance experience.

Professional development: ANZ offers two days of MoneyMinded facilitator training to groups of financial counsellors and community educators.

Quality indicator: Meets the Financial Literacy Foundation’s Essential Elements eligibility and assessment requirements. Assessed and supported by Innovation and Business Skills Australia.

Material type: Hard copy lesson plans, units of work, advice to teachers, student workbooks and web based materials.
