The website of the Australian Government Insolvency and Trustee Service Australia has information about your rights and obligations under the personal insolvency system, including bankruptcy and other solutions available under the Bankruptcy Act 1966.

If you've been contacted about a debt you don't think you owe or you think you may have been charged incorrect interest or fees, contact your lender and explain the issue.
